Hi Burr, we had a lot of time in year one. Actually that roping paid $20,000 to win and we just blinked our eyes and got 450 teams. Now that we have four divisions, an enter once warm up would generate nearly 1500 teams in pre-ropings. The Challenge ropings proved to us that we just don't have the cattle, space, time and location. Don't think for a moment that we don't want this roping to go over the 6 million at the NFR, but holding on to quality and not getting into mega ropings is also the goal. Las Vegas is providing us some alternatives, and I will let everyone know if they work out!
