Hello Team Ropers: Can't tell you how happy I am to be able to co-produce this event with Denny. It's my intention to win one of these roping Finales then produce the world class bullfight at the end of the show. I have assembled four of the most outstanding "young guns" in the business and we intend to put you on a great show. Our bullfighters will be Wacey Munsell, Dusty Tuckness, Andy Burelle, and Ross Hill. They won't get one of the huge roping checks like you guys, but I have assured them it will be bigger than they can receive anywhere else. We are excited about this deal, and hope it turns into something bigger and better in the future. Don't miss it!
Hey Smets, consider me all in. Any chance I'll get to see you hurt yourself roping? You know you have that tendency.....
Hello guys count count me in, Las Vegas, NFR time, Bulls, and money, just don't get better than that.
Smets you know I'm with you. When I was teenager I use to watch you get run over, then get up, dust yourself off and go sign autographs for an hour. That looked like something I was capable of doing, so I guess you were my inspiration. Invite some of your team roper buddies to come get a loop on one of these big black mexican horned beast. I've been curious what the handle would be like?
Oustanding Smets. I like hearing you talk about that money. Any chance you could send me an advance. I have posted my bio on the profile. I'll talk to you soon.

The World Series of Team Roping Finale II

December 14th, 2007

Generally every roping story line starts out with the same theme “bigger and better.” But bigger and better is a little redundant for the World Series of Team Roping. Last year during its inaugural Finale Event the WS payoff surpassed every single roping in the United States except the Reno Invitational. Continuing to rise, the two "Big " ropings, the #11 Finale and the #10 Finale, rose from $570,000 and $590,000 to $650,000 each, with its national ranking splitting 2nd and 3rd behind Reno. The #14 Pro-Am Finale was added this year and was limited to 170 teams for a $406,000 payoff; achieving 10th in the national purse rankings without even trying.
