If you were shocked at the big jump in the attendance at World Series IV last year and the three record breaking Million Dollar ropings, you werent alone. We were pretty surprised ourselves, and more than a little curious how entries would play out this year. Based on the economic situation and the fact that most cowboy related events across the country are generally down, we are pleasantly surprised to find WSTR Finale entries at the exact same place they were at this time last year. Certainly that isnt a guarantee, but the #10 and #11 are over 80% full and the #13 is hovering around 70%. The number of ropers roping with WSTR have jumped from roughly 3000 to nearly 7000, and the power of 80% is pretty evident with over $5.3 million paid out at our various qualifiers through the 4^th of July weekend. Not bad for a little roping club, thanks to you guys that like small ropings with big payouts.

The remainder of the positions in the #10 and #11 will be held in reserve for teams qualifying at events during the rest of the season. If you havent qualified yet in the #11 and #10 and want to go to Vegas, there is still a chance. The books are still open in the #13 and we predict it will be completed by the end of September. We will continue to accept fully paid direct entry teams who will bump incomplete teams (teams paid on just one side).
