Utah has produced at least one winner in each of the previous three World Series and season #4 was no different. Wane Workman and Bill Dahlke took the number one position in the short round and never gave it up, even conceding one classification number as a #10 team. Wane Workman is a homebuilder in Roosevelt, Utah. At 76, he took up team roping 30 years ago after spending his younger years roping calves and bull dogging. Bill Dahlke is a retired rancher from Inkom, Idaho. The 59-year-old spends his winters in Arizona so he can rope.
